My Party.

My party depicts a 1950s housewife—a Betty Draper type—relegated back to domestic life after participating in the war effort. Trapped in a pristine plastic kitchen, she fills her days with cigarettes, stiff martinis, and the ritual of making elaborate Jell-O molds. Beneath the surface of these sugary creations simmers her desperation and boredom, as she tries to escape the numbing routine of a life reduced to domestic perfection.
